Product Description
Have you ever wished that your lens could focus closer, a lot closer? The Cokin close-up lenses work by adding a simple lens in front of your lens that allows it to focus much closer than normal. They are the simplest and least expensive entry into the world of close-up photography. They are available in different "Powers" (Diopters) a 1, 2 and 3. A 1 close-up lens will allow you to focus your lens closer than it already does. A 2 will focus even closer and a 3 close-up lens is the strongest and will allow you to focus much closer than the 1 or 2. How close it will focus depends on the focal length of your lens and the actual close focusing capability of that particular lens.

Cokin filters were invented by professional photographer Jean Coquin. By using square filters like Cokin's, which fit into a holder and are attached to a lens via an adapter ring, the photographer has a number of immediate advantages. There is no need to duplicate filters to fit different size lenses, up to three filters can be used at once to create unique effects, and the photographer has control over the positioning of the effect on the photograph.
